LAFFITE'S COVE NATURE SOCIETY

The Laffite's Cove Nature Society ("LCNS") is a Texas Non-Profit Corporation created July 7, 1992 to manage the canals and nature preserves located within the Laffite's Cove Subdivision on Galveston Island, Texas. Many areas of the nature preserves have great historical and environmental importance. As provided by the Declaration of Covenants governing Laffite's Cove, all lot owners in Laffite's Cove are automatically LCNS Members and fund the LCNS through annual assessments. LCNS also serves the public, as the nature preserves are owned by the City of Galveston and some areas are open to the public for bird watching.

This website has been created to inform the Members and the public about LCNS and its ongoing efforts to best serve its Members, and to ccomplish the purposes for which it was founded.
